In this story, Moominmamma and Moominpappa rescue Moomintroll from the waves of the sea. Soon, they realise Moomintroll is their long-lost son, and the family can return home together. Complementing this story, the other Family Time items show the reunited family spending time together in a leisurely, cosy setting and exploring the possibilities of the beautiful Moominvalley, where horse chestnuts are in bloom.
